Functional Description CUV

In designing and constructing the Classic UV's assembly, Aradiant has striven to create a machine that matches the integrity and long-term reliability of the printing press it works with. Additionally, the Classic UV system produces the radiant energy needed for high-speed ink and coating polymerization, without causing excessive heat build-up or fatigue in the press or dryer. It is the only machine to provide a continuous closed-loop process cooled environment to the UV heads. Therefore, the system remains at a constant temperature even when running for extended periods of time. Cooling the assembly without air results in a more stable lamp arc, allowing the system to idle at approximately 25% power, make instant jumps to maximum power and produce a more stable electrical load. Additionally, most lamp changes occur within ten minutes, without dismantling the UV assembly.

Extruded aluminum lamp housing transfers heat through internal refrigerated water ducts.

Shutter system incoporates an internally cooled plate supported by linear bearings on case hardened shafts.

Combines easily with Aradiant's coating and/or infrared drying equipment for one complete turnkey system.
