AQUANOL® 300
High Performance Alcohol Replacer
DESCRIPTION: A concentrated high performance alcohol replacer for use on sheetfed and small web
continuous type dampening systems. A proven industry standard, AQUANOL 300
contains wetting agents and solvents for reducing the surface tension of the press ready
solution. Compatible with all fountain solutions and additives. Used correctly,
AQUANOL 300 can reduce or completely eliminate the use of alcohol.
SPECIFICATIONS: Flash Point (TCC): >210°F (SCC)
Appearance/Odor: Clear yellow liquid/solvent odor
VOC Content (EPA Method 24): 6.1 lbs./gal.
INSTRUCTIONS: Mix 1 to 4 ounces per gallon of AQUANOL 300 into the press ready mix. Normal
starting dosage is 2 ounces per gallon. To decrease water setting or reduce lead edge
toning, increase dosage by 1 ounce per gallon. If ink emulsification or roller stripping
occurs decrease dosage by 1 ounce per gallon. For excellent results, use with an RBP
AQUA SERIES fountain concentrate. Contact RBP technical representative for
recommendations.
